Boomworks is a digital studio based in San Fulgencio, Alicante, Spain. We're the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect
Things you tell us
If you fill in the contact form or email us, we collect what you send: name, business, email, phone (if you provide one), and your message.
Things we collect automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs - IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp - to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
The site does not run analytics. There's no Google Analytics, no pixels, no marketing tags.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry - legitimate interest, or, if you're asking about a service, the steps necessary to enter into a contract.
- To keep the site secure - legitimate interest in protecting our service.
- To meet legal obligations - accounting and tax records, where required.
Who else sees it
We use a small set of trusted third parties:
- Formspree - receives contact form submissions on our behalf and forwards them to us. Their privacy policy.
- Hosting provider - serves the site and keeps the standard server logs described above.
- Google Fonts - we load the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces from Google's CDN. Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. We do not load any other Google services.
We do not sell your data, and we don't use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
- Contact form submissions: kept while a conversation is live, then archived for up to 24 months in case you come back, then deleted.
- Server logs: kept for the period our hosting provider retains them (typically 30-90 days).
- Anything we're required to keep for tax or legal reasons: as long as the obligation lasts.
Where it lives
Most of the services we use are based inside the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA (e.g. Google Fonts), the receiving party is bound by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Hand a copy to you or another provider
Email contact@boomworks.es and we'll respond inside 30 days. If you're not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) or to your local supervisory authority.

If we change anything on this page we'll update the date below.
